FBPixel Mendel Psychological Associates: COVID-19

COVID-19 Office Safety Precautions in Effect During the Pandemic

We know that there's widespread concern in our community about the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), and we want you to know that your health is our top priority at Mendel Psychological Associates.

With the increasing uncertainty and growing number of infected individuals around the world, our practice has taken the following steps to ensure the safety of our clients and staff:

  1. 1. As of July, 2021 we begun seeing clients for in-person visits as long as they are fully vaccinated against  COVID-19.  All our office staff is fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as well.    We continue to provide Telehealth services for any clients that prefer seeing a therapist in a virtual setting.
  2. 2. As of March, 2020, our practice is exclusively providing services via Telehealth. We continue to encourage our clients to use Telehealth for all their therapy sessions, including group therapy. Research shows Telehealth sessions can be just as effective as in-person appointments, and we can continue your care without interruption.
  3. 3. Starting July, 2020, our practice is opening the office for very limited in-person psycho-educational testing. Before you are allowed to enter the office for the in-person session, you and/your household members will be required to fill in pre-screening health questionnaire that will be emailed to you.
  4. 4. We have implemented the following "Office Safety Precautions in Effect During the Pandemic" to keep everyone entering our office safe.
